Ms. Blevins' Class
North Charleston Elementary School
Students will have math, reading, and spelling homework each night.
Students will take home their math practice each night. They can also practice more math at home on xtramath.org or relfex.
Students should be reading for at least 20-30 minutes each night and completing their reading log. They should be responding to their reading by making connections, summarizing, asking questions, making predictions, or comparing/contrasting. Reflecting on their reading will help students increase their reading comprehension skills.
Students also have spelling homework each night. The words change weekly, but the choices always remain the same. Students choose one activity to do each night to practice their words. Please see the current newsletter for this week's spelling words.
